ShippingSubject to its physical size, your order will be delivered either by courier or by Australia Post. All of our roasters are delivered by express courier with insurance and online delivery tracking at very reasonable rates considering the size and weight of these units. Freight for a single roaster is $49.50 anywhere in Australia, $79.50 for two roasters, $89 for three roasters and rates beyond that are negotiable. If you select Australia Post for a smaller order, we recommend Registered Postage as this provides insurance against loss or damage in transit. Express post is trackable and faster, but does not carry insurance.
WarrantyAll our coffee roasters are tested prior to shipment so we are confident they leave us in working order. A 12 month warranty applies on all Hottop roasters.
- If you report a fault with your roaster within 28 days of the date of shipment, we will pay for it to be returned to us for inspection (and repair if necessary). We will also pay for the roaster to be shipped back to you. If the unit is not faulty we reserve the right to request payment for the return postage prior to returning your roaster to you.
- If you report a fault with your roaster after 28 days of the date of shipment but within the warranty period, you are required to pay to ship the roaster back to us where we will inspect it, then we will pay to ship the roaster back to you.
- If you report a fault with your roaster outside the warranty period, you need to pay shipping both ways.
In any case when a roaster is returned under warranty, we reserve the right to charge a $49 inspection fee if the roaster does not test to be faulty or if the fault(s) are deemed to be outside the scope of the manufacturer's warranty (including, but not only: incorrect use, use outside the manufacturer's guidelines, the removal of any panel screws contrary to manufacturer's recommendations).
Damage by the user in the process of fitting roaster upgrade kits is not covered by warranty.
ReturnsPlease choose carefully as it's a lot more difficult for all of us to fix up an incorrectly selected order once it's been paid for and delivered. We may charge a restocking fee for any components incorrectly purchased. Goods are not normally refundable once they have been opened. All goods are covered by a factory warranty. If the unit fails within the warranty period due to a manufacturing fault with the unit, the unit will be repaired or replaced (at our discretion) free of charge. If the unit fails at any time due to incorrect usage, you will be liable for any costs associated with repairing the damage and freighting the unit to and from our premises. For this reason we strongly recommend you thoroughly read and follow the safety and usage instructions in the owner's manual supplied with the roaster to ensure you don't inadvertently damage the roaster.
